getting to know you

Determining what you need

We begin by getting to know a bit about you – your lifestyle, what you need, and where you’re at in the process of building your dream home. A better brief upfront will always save you time and money in the long run.

We’ll ask you about your design ideas, your land options, your budget, what you like and don’t like, whether you have an architect or designer in mind, need some help designing, whether you’re demolishing and rebuilding. This will give us a clear idea of what your future home could look like.

If you’re still in the ideas stage, please get in touch and we can show you some recent projects and see what is possible within your timeframes and budget.

If you already own a section to build on, we will conduct a free site visit and preliminary land assessment for feasibility and geotech qualities. We will let you know what design elements will work best on your site, what site works will be required, and what access restrictions might affect your project. We are specialists in building on tricky sites (such as steep slopes or soft, sandy ground) and can design your home to make the most of these features.

Arrange your complimentary, no-obligation site visit.

If there is a section that you’re interested in purchasing, we can help arrange the preliminary geotech investigations to determine whether there may be any issues or potential additional costs involved in preparing the land for your build. We can also help with the removal of an existing house on the land you’re considering.

If you don’t already own a section, we can discuss options with you. Through our real estate contacts and the work we do out in the field, we have our finger on the pulse about land availability.
